Hi I’m Crystal and I’m so glad you’ve chosen me to capture your newborns first photos!
I adore babies! From that intoxicating newborn smell to their tiny curled toes; newborn babies are one of the most amazing things on the planet! I’ve had three sweet kiddos of my own so I know just how fast those first weeks fly by and how quickly they change! I know right now you are probably exhausted and overwhelmed and SO in love with this tiny person you just brought into the world and I want to help you to capture and remember every little detail.
How it Works
I bring everything I need, from backdrops to hats and wraps. Don’t worry about a thing! If you have a special hat or blanket you want to include we can totally do that but if you don’t have anything don’t worry at all! I have lots to choose from! If you have certain colors or ideas in mind please reach out so I can see what I have! Making each session unique is always fun!
Once I get to your house I’ll pick the spot with the best lighting and get set up! I may have to move a few things around but I promise I’ll also make sure it’s all put back before I leave!
We’ll do sibling and family shots first, then parent shots. This will help baby settle in familiar arms before we move on to solo baby images. If your baby is a bit older we may not get those traditional sleepy shots (though we will do our best and often still do!).
If we need to pause for feeding or diaper changes that’s totally fine and expected! Please don’t stress if it seems to be taking a while to get baby settled - I don’t have your baby on a strict clock - sometimes it takes an hour and sometimes it takes three. Every baby is unique!
Once we’re done I’ll head home and get to editing! If you choose a sneak peek I’ll have one or two images up on the Three Little Foxes Photography Facebook page within 24 hours. Your full gallery will be ready in 3-5 weeks. Typically closer to 3 but I do have three crazy kiddos of my own so I do appreciate your patience if it’s closer to 5 weeks. When the gallery is ready I’ll send you a link and you can choose your seven included images. If you wish to buy additional images or are interested in any products I’ll be happy to help with anything at that time!

Parent checklist:
Have any special items you’d like included on hand.
Take off any socks or tight clothes about an hour before the session so baby doesn’t have any imprints in their skin.
Make sure the house is warm enough for baby to sleep during photos. A good way to judge is if you feel just a bit TOO warm then it’s probably perfect! ;)
If mom and dad are planning to be in photos I suggest simple, solid colored shirts (black, white and grey let baby shine!) or a comfy flowy dress for mom. Simple outfits for siblings are great too!
Feed baby just before session time so we can start with a comfy, full tummy. (Don’t worry if baby needs topped off during the session - I’m not in a rush!)
Have siblings dressed and ready - we always get sibling shots done first so they can go play (or even better, if possible, head off somewhere with a family member).
