Landon {newborn} Session

I was so excited to get sweet little Landon in front of my lens just weeks after his mama's maternity session!  Mama, Rachel, sent me pictures of his sweet woodland themed nursery and I immediately knew what direction to take this session!  Landon was a perfect little fox and I loved every second of his newborn session!

Mommy and Mine, Columbia Missouri

As a photographer I have a lot of photos of my kids - they are pretty used to mama pointing a camera their way - in fact they recognize adorable moments on their own now and are likely to yell out "Mama, bring your camera we being cute!"  But the one thing I don't have is very many image of my kids with ME.  Its kinda obvious why, but I've decided that my kids need to have pictures of mama with them to look back on too!  So for Mother's Day I asked my husband to take some pictures of my and my Three Little Foxes!  We headed out to Stephens Lake Park in Columbia Missouri and trecked around the lake taking photos and having fun!  I was pretty thrilled with what my husband managed to capture.

Get in the picture mama!  Your kids will thank you someday!

And of course I had to grab a photo of my foxes and their handsome Daddy!  <3

Rachel + Chris {maternity} Session, Columbia Missouri

Rachel and I attended high school together many years ago and as fate would have it we found ourselves both living in Columbia, Missouri this year.  Rachel and her husband Chris were expecting their first child and I was thrilled to be able to capture a few images for them as they awaited the birth of their son!

Rachel you are beautiful inside and out and I know you will be a fantastic mother!

Robbie {newborn} Session

Robbie's mama, Sky, and I have been friends for a while now and this year she took the plunge into photography and I've been privileged to help guide her through the murky waters of starting a photography business.  She is the eye behind the camera at Sky Marquise Photography in Fort Hood, TX.  When she found out I'd be back in Arizona for Christmas - just a few days after the due date of her third baby boy we arranged for me to do sweet little Robbie's newborn session.  It was quite the experience - we made due with what I could bring in a tote and in lieu of a studio we borrowed a room in a church, but in the end we captured some adorable images of little Robbie!

Krintin {maternity} Session

I met up with this sweet couple just before Christmas to take some maternity photos in the chilly December weather!  They were so happy and excited for their first little one to join them!  She was born last week and she is as cute as can be!  Her newborn session was amazing and I can't wait to share it too!

Annelise {Senior} Session

Annelise is my husbands little sister and she's been a part of my life since she was barely older than my son, so she's basically my little sister at this point too. ;)  In the years since we moved from Missouri it seems like she's magically become an adult, but still funny, smart and softball obsessed!

I'd been hoping I'd get to take Annie's senior photos for years now, but we couldn't swing the trip home to Missouri this fall.  So last Sunday imagine my surprise when I got a voice mail from my father-in-law wanting to book a senior session for his daughter, Annelise.  Turns out while he WAS trying to be funny, he also had a week off and by the end of the day Sunday we'd gotten tickets booked for Annelise and my mother and father-in-law to come out to visit!  Annie and I had a great time planning and executing her senior photos over the course of two evenings and I'm so pleased with the results and proud of what a beautiful young woman Annelise has grown up to be!
